Preservation and archiving
A journal that depends on its publisher continuing to exist is not archived. These are the arrangements that outlast this publisher.

Content is deposited with the archives above. If the journal ceases to publish or the publisher ceases to operate, the archive releases the content and it remains available.
Identifiers
- DOIs
- No DOI is issued yet. Crossref membership is not in place, so this journal holds no registered prefix, and the platform refuses to mint an identifier under one it does not own — an article published now carries no DOI rather than a string that resolves nowhere. Once the prefix is registered, every article receives a DOI that resolves for as long as Crossref exists, independently of this site.

- ORCID
- Authors and reviewers are identified by ORCID iD, so attribution survives name changes and institutional moves.
- ROR
- Institutions are identified by ROR identifier rather than by a typed affiliation string.
Harvesting
The full metadata is harvestable over OAI-PMH 2.0 at https://www.videoendoscopy.org/oai (set videndo:video-endoscopy) in oai_dc and jats. Full text is served as JATS 1.4 per article, and new articles are announced on an Atom feed.
